Auschwitz Gas Chambers
Gas chambers were used to suffocate Jews. Gas chambers hold from 700-800 people at once. The prisoners that were in cell block 11 (the block that the worst Jews or Jews that were accused to be in a club that was against Nazis), that block was known for being killed. Cell block 11 was also used to experiment on news ways to kill the Jews. The Jews had to strip naked, then they would go in and Zyklon B was released into the chamber through the openings of the roof. But this gas chamber didn't have shower heads. It had opening through the roofs so it is easier to pour the toxic wastes in it.

The Use Of Gas Vans
Many Nazis used to dirve in these huge vans, that were called gas vans. Nazis would tell Jews that they would be free, they would make them take all their cloths off and walk in a dark hallway which led them into the back of a huge van. As they drive they would release toxic gas at the back part of the van, the van would drive around the camp for 2 hours until every one in the back of the van died. All Jews that were at the back of the van died of suffocation.

The Use Of Crematorium 2
The construstion on the 2nd crematorium started in August 1942. Even though the prisoners were worked to the maximum speed, the crematorium didn't get finished like planned. It was supposed to be finished in mid February 1942. The first murder in the crematorium took place in March 13, 1943. On that same day 1,500 Jews that were from the Ghetto B in Krakow were killed with Zyklon Gas. The gas chamber was 30m wide and 7m long and 2.41m tall. So it was not so tall. The ceiling was made out of concrete. This crematory had false shower heads so that they can deceive the victims and keep the lie of bathing and disinfection.
When people were undressing the first people who would undress would look inside of the gas chamber and notice something suspicious and panic would break loose through the whole undressing room, but the SS men would come and stop it. They added lights in the gas chamber so people would not panic and they would be able to close the latch of the door before people noticed it was a gas chamber or before they noticed they were about to die.
